Machine Tune-ups

Hello Friends,

I got my sewing machine back – Yay… it wasn’t too bad, it just needed a little TLC… But now it’s running nice and smooth – it’s a happy stitcher again AND so am I!!! :-)

Keeping your sewing machine clean is important, but so are regular
tune-ups. I clean my sewing machine every two to three days, depending on what I am working on… Plan on getting your machine serviced at least once a year if you put a lot of hours on it. If you sew infrequently, you can stretch it out to 1.5 to 2 years between tune-ups.  Happy Sewing!!

Withdrawals

Hello Friends,

I am going through withdrawals…  I just drop off my sewing machine to get a good cleaning and tune-up, and now I can’t wait to get it back… Ugh - I don’t have another one to use, so this is going to be a LONG week.  You all know what I need to do!  Get a back-up one.  Well, that’s next on my list of things to do – and soon!

I thought this would be a good time to drop it off because I am waiting for material to come in for a quilt I’m working on…  Thought I had enough…  I hate when this happens.

Here is a picture of the one I am working on…  It’s going to be beautiful!  I love the colors in this :-) - Here is a sneak peak.. Making it for someone special.

Tea Cup/Mug Exchange

Hello everyone,

This is the tea cup/mug reveal page…

This was my fist tea cup /mug exchange. I have to say, it was so much fun! I had the pleasure of participating in two exchanges… I really loved it.  So, a BIG THANK YOU to Stephanie at The Enchanting Rose for putting this all together.

I sending a mug to a nice lady named Julie, along with some neat little goodies... I also sent a tea cup to Maria in UK with some nice little treats too.

I felt like a kid at Christmas when each box was delivered to my door – I was so excited to open them.  The first one I got was from a very nice lady Sherry – I knew she had checked out my blog, because she gave me a beautiful tea cup with two fat quarters and a cute little crocheted tea cup pin cushion-  which I am using in my sewing room now - :-)
The second one came from another very nice lady, Linda.  This was a beautiful pink flowered mug… which I will now be using every morning for my tea or coffee!  Linda also gave me some nice little goodies, as she also checked out my blog.  I love the little quilt book with the thimble hanging from the bookmark – very cute.

I love my tea cup & mug along with all my little goodies!  Thank you so much ladies!  The best part about this exchange is… making new friends!
