Hello Friends,

Well I finally finished the wedding quilt I was working on...  it felt like I was working on it forever... Don't know why, but some seem to take way too long.

Here it is all done. :-) YAY
Above are pictures of bride & groom
along with the invitation I put on the front
of the quilt - very nice keepsake!

Hello Quilters & Friends,

The summer is flying by and Shop Hop is just around the corner…  You know where us quilt girls will be...
😊 Shh, don’t tell our husbands, they say we don’t need any more fabric or quilt notions. But we all know that’s not true. We can always use more!!!

Here are a couple of quilts that I am working on...
This one is for a friend....  Not done yet.
Another Frozen quilt.  I made one for a friend and someone saw it and “Loved it” -  asked if I would make one for her too. (Not done yet)
I also made this cute little baby girl quilt for another friend of mine, her son just had a little girl.  This quilt is made with flannel, it's so soft & snuggly.
It's so adorable...  I'm thinking I might
make another one.  ðŸ˜Š

Hello Everyone,

I am now back from Florida and ready to start quilting again....  I went to visit my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter...  Yes, I am a grandma now!  So exciting!!!
I will be making cute little girly things - and quilts, can't wait! :-)

Here are pictures of the Frozen quilt I was working on just before I left for Florida..

This is the material I used with the panel -
White shimmering material for small border and then a larger
blue snowflake border.
I used snow queen material for the back...
Here it is being quilted on the long arm
Here it is done - front and back below
Just need to bind it.
This looks so much better in person!
I love it - it came out absolutely beautiful!

Hello Everyone,

I was asked if I knew how to make teddy bears... A memory bear actually. Well, to be honest, I never made a teddy bear before...  So, I thought it might be time to try.  I had some leftover material from this unicorn quilt I made, so I decided to try it.

Here is the unicorn quilt I made...
Here is the little teddy bear all laid out..
Started to sew & stuff him..
Here it is all done :-)
I think it came out pretty darn good
for the first time making one...
I love it!!!

Thank you for stopping by :-)

Fairy Tale Quilt

Hello Everyone,

I did a little fairy tale embroidering on a quilt...  Each block has a different fairy tale saying on it.  The blocks took about an hour to create.  The saying are so cute too.
I love the way it turned out...

Below is the label I made for it...

Hello Everyone,

I would like to share one of my quilt projects with you, that has been keeping me busy.

This quilt below is for my best friend Maryann from high school.  Maryann is the little garden girl on this quilt...  You see, she is a farmer girl.  One of the farmer girls at the Filanowski Farm here in Milford.  If you haven't been to Filanowski Farm, you really should check them out. They have Everything and you cannot beat their prices.

I used the Primo plaids chalk & timber flannel fabrics from the Missouri Star Quilt Company.  I also embroidered the little garden girls and the farm scenes to put on each block.  I laid it out first, light and dark...

I sewed it all together and quilted it with the Field of Flowers pattern.  Thought that was perfect for a garden farmer girl.  Love the way it looks.
Here I am laying out the embroidery pictures to be sewn on.
Sewing them on...
Now that it's all sewn together - I'm adding the binding.
I have embroidered the label and now it's
Done!
Hello friends,

Here is an update on the BOM project - (block of the month)  I am on going on my forth block next week.  Here are the three that are done... I really love the patterns and color scheme on these blocks...  All blocks will be 12 x 12 inch finish.

Here are all three blocks completed
These red and white pieces are the center of the block below
 Here I'm sewing it together
This is it, block three all done
